A new pumping station, P-9, is designed to meet the requirements of the Dead Sea Industries Ltd. (DSW) for seawater level in early 2020 for operational evaporation ponds in the South region.
The new pumping station consisted of a pier, a pump table, an abutment, a connecting bridge, pumps and a 3 km length of 3 m diameter pipes, a control station, an electrical room, etc.
The new pumping station is located on a site 3 km north of the existing P88 pumping station.
